Chiltern Railways have today launched a mobile browsing site to make it simpler and easier to find the information that you want when you’re on the go. Created by Cardiff based agency, Imaginet, the new mobile version can be found at m.chilternrailways.co.uk and Chiltern Railways are one of the first operators to offer their passengers a mobile site which is compatible with the majority of mobile phones.
The mobile site gives passengers live travel news, information to get in touch, an easy way to check train times, news in brief, station information (including a map to show you how to get there) and all the latest offers at your finger tips.

Kirsteen Robertson, Head of Marketing and PR at Chiltern Railways said: "More and more of our passengers are using their mobile phones to access real time information on our services, and also to use social networking sites like Twitter to stay in touch with us. So we wanted to make it as straightforward for them as possible, and developed the mobile site for people on the go."
The site was developed by web agency Imaginet, who also designed Chiltern Railway’s website, which won Best Travel website in the New Media Age Awards 2008 and Best Website in Communications in Business 2008.
Paula Dauncey, Marketing Manager for Imaginet commented: "We have really enjoyed working on this project and see it is a natural progression for Chiltern Railways, who have already set the benchmark with their award winning website.
"We took time to decide which content was most appropriate for the web version and integrated key functionality that a traveller may need whilst on the move such as real-time travel updates. The design works on most phone formats and offers really clear navigation that is perfect for a mobile site."
The mobile version can be found at m.chilternrailways.co.uk.
