Background
Monmouthshire Building Society is a highly successful regional financial services provider offering a wide range of services via a branch network in South Wales.
They wished to develop a new website to raise awareness of the company’s products and services and help to build relationships with new and existing customers. A key aspect of the project was to utilise the systems developed by Mutual Vision Technology (MVT), which are designed to provide a variety of financial services functions such as tracking savings and mortgage accounts.
Solution
Having worked with the Society for a few years, Imaginet redesigned the website in 2010 to cnvey a more modern and innovative feel and offer customers enhanced services. Particular features include:
- Highly attractive and welcoming, yet professional design using the corporate colours, the site is easy to navigate, with key items of interest being clearly sign posted throughout.
- The homepage is extremely innovative in that it allows staff to control all areas including the movie and special offers section and all the banners allowing users to select which offers they view
- Imaginet's content management system is used to control all the content in the site quickly and simply with associated data uploads for specific product information.
- Customers can also download documents and find related content and links throughout the site.
- Simple customer account management with a seamless link to an external system for customer account tracking, which has been branded with the main website templates.
- The website uses an advanced registration and emailing system to record customer’s interests and email them targeted information from the company on a regular basis. This system will allow the building society to manage customer details as well as create HTML newsletters
