Imaginet was selected to create a bi-lingual app to give passengers easier access to up to date information about their journey and to purchase tickets.
Passengers can manage tickets and Smartcards from their phone, save favourite journeys and track their journey in real time.
Important travel information such as service updates will also be available to passengers before they travel, keeping them updated on the facilities available on their journey and their arrival time.

“The design and build of this app was an exciting project for Imaginet. It demanded very close collaboration with the team at Transport for Wales and the third parties whose systems we integrate with to deliver ticket purchasing through the app and a variety of passenger information.
Future developments will see more information and services being made available through the app and we look forward to ongoing collaboration with Transport for Wales to deliver enhanced services to their customers.”

“The new smartphone app marks a significant step forward in the service we provide to customers. More people than ever are using our app to buy tickets and access up-to-the-minute journey information. This latest step now adds in a bilingual service for the first time and makes it easier to use its key features.
This is just one step we’re making ahead of the eventual rollout of an integrated public transport app. [This] will provide journey information and tickets for rail and bus services across Wales.”
